BUSINESS VISA

I. Overview about the business visa:
   A. Business visa – DN:
– There are two most common types of business visas.
   1. DN1: is issued to foreign individuals working with businesses and organizations that have legal status according to Vietnamese laws.
   2. DN2: is issued to foreign individuals entering Vietnam to provide services, establish companies, or carry out other activities in accordance with international agreements that Vietnam is a member of.

B. Working visa – LĐ:

     1. LD 1: issued to foreign individuals working in Vietnam under an exemption from a work permit, except for cases where international agreements that Vietnam is a member of have different regulations.
     2. LD 2: issued to foreign individuals who must have a work permit to work in Vietnam.
C.Investment visa – ĐT:
    1. ĐT1: issued to foreign investors in Vietnam and representatives of foreign organizations investing in Vietnam with a capital contribution of 100 billion VND or more, or investment in industries or sectors prioritized for investment as regulated by the Government of Vietnam.
    2. ĐT2: issued to foreign investors in Vietnam and representatives of foreign organizations investing in Vietnam with a capital contribution from 50 billion VND to less than 100 billion VND, or investment in sectors encouraged for investment as regulated by the Government of Vietnam.

    3. ĐT3: issued to foreign investors in Vietnam and representatives of foreign organizations investing in Vietnam with a capital contribution from 3 billion VND to less than 50 billion VND.

  4.ĐT4: issued to foreign investors in Vietnam and representatives of foreign organizations investing in Vietnam with a capital contribution of less than 3 billion VND.
II. Business visa procedures at IYA:
– For business visa:
    * Passport (valid for at least 6 months)
    * Documents sponsored by a Vietnamese company
– For visiting visa:
    * Passport (valid for at least 6 months).
    * Documents proving personal relationship.
    * Invitation letter/Sponsorship letter from the sponsoring company.
